Fabrics and colors
Sequins and glitter catch the light and need very little else. Satin, like the red Dance The Night Away Scallop Bubble Mini Dress, has a smooth sheen that suits evening. Tulle and lace feel romantic and work well for daytime parties and weddings. Pink and fuchsia are our biggest colors, with red, black and metallics for night.
Fit and sizing
Most party dresses come in Small, Medium and Large, and some, like the I'm Just A Girl Color Block Dress, run X-Small to X-Large. One-shoulder and strapless styles fit closest at the bust, so choose by your bust measurement on the size guide. Wrap and tie-waist dresses are the easiest to adjust if you are between sizes. A few tulle styles add volume at the hip, and each product page notes it. Returns are free within 21 days of delivery for unworn, unwashed pieces with tags on.
How to style a party dress
Strappy or block-heel sandals from heels, a small clutch from handbags and purses and one pair of statement earrings finish most looks. Keep jewelry simple with a busy print or all-over sequins, and go bolder with a solid color. For cooler nights, add a jacket from coats and blazers.

What is a good party dress for a wedding?
A midi or maxi in any color other than white or ivory, such as pink, red or a print. Tulle, lace and satin all suit weddings. Check the invitation: a black-tie wedding calls for a floor-length dress.
What's the difference between a cocktail dress and a formal dress?
A cocktail dress is usually knee length or shorter, made for evening parties and receptions. A formal dress is floor length, for galas, black-tie weddings and formal dinners.

Can I return a party dress?
Yes. Returns are free within 21 days of delivery, as long as the piece is unworn and unwashed with all tags attached. Start one in our returns portal and we'll email you a prepaid label. Final sale items can't be returned or exchanged.
